I'm the Bean Grower

We painted some plastic container (dessert cup from the Pattisier) and laid the bottom with wet cotton wool. Each of us chose 3 soya bean and put it in the container. This is the photo taken on the 2nd morning, some small roots have sprouted.

On the 3rd day, longer root, the bean turn green (heard that the bean turn green because of the sunlight that it has absorbed, if left covered and keep out of light, it will remain yellow) and struggled out of the skin.

On the 4th day, the bean grow taller, look much more like the bean sprout that we saw in market.

On the 5th day, the bean grow taller than the container, looks like its ready to go into the pan! Its amazing than it can grow double the height in a day time.

The Real Princesses??

Who do you think is the real princess? Haha, bought the tiara for them to wear at siao mei ah yi's wedding. Kor Xuan cant wait to try it the moment we reached home, rushing into the room to look at herself in the mirror. Ya, you guessed it right, the tiara was broken into 2 pieces after her first try, mummy have to fix it with a piece of fishing string and some super glue... cant tell from the picture right? Good workmanship, hahaha...

New Bike

Papa is so nice to buy the princesses new bike, PINK BMX!! See, cant wait to "test drive" in the park:

The RING

Rings that ah xuan made for me, total of 20!!! There are cat, flower, star, rabbit, octopus, jelly fish, heart ...etc..... Creative right?

First Attempt at McDonald

Guess what were these little girls doing at the Mc Donald counter? They waited 5 minutes before the cashier noticed them, hahaha... long and persistent wait.... So what were they doing there? Buying food? No no no.... look at the picture below for answer....



Yeap, right, they were asking for balloons... haha.... when having our meal at Mc Donald, they saw other kids holding the balloons, so naturally they want it also. As part of my "Social and Say Please" training programme to the little girls, I asked them to request the balloons by themselves from the staffs (hahaha... the truth was mummy was too "pai seh" to ask...haha)... and they did and sucessfully got 2 balloons from the friendly cashier! kor Xuan was a bit hesitated to go by herself at first, after the encouragement from me, she managed to do it... and later on when mei mei lost her balloon outside of Mc Donald, she even offered to help mei mei request another balloon.... but this time, I bought a drink from the Cashier, she was too kind and I also felt pai seh to keep asking for balloon....

Midnight Chocolate Cup Cake

Upon the very "firm" request from Kor Xuan, we started our plan to make the cupcake. At 8pm after dinner, we drove to Hougang to buy the cupcake tin, but too bad, it was closed due to public holiday. Naturally anybody would think to postpone to plan, but Kor Xuan said very firmly "No nO NO!! we must do it tonight" finally we had to drive to Ikea to get the tin (that's the only other plave that I could think of).... So after a bit of shopping at Ikea and bought their favourite hot dog, we reached home at almost 10pm. Kor Xuan still insisted to do the cupcake... Well, not to dissapoint her (and the fact was the plan had been postponed endless time...).... we execute our mission of baking cupcake:

With the help of the two little princesses (actually more of disturbance and interruption), guess what, we managed to finish baking our cupcake at 11 plus... FINALLY!!! Da Dan.... we proudly present our final product:

Anyway, looks yummy right? And the fact is it is really delicious!!

Rocker Princess

Ever seen a rocker princess???
After putting mei mei to bed for afternoon nap, I catched Kor Xuan dressed up herself in this and start to shake her bum in front of the mirror...hahaha... so I quickly took my phone (camera no battery, thanks to ah hong ah yi who kept my charger in Melb! so please bare with the poor quality of the video taken) to record a video of it....
